Servicing Your Contract:

We collect and use your personal information to provide a warranty, insurance product or service plan quotation and to arrange, administer and handle claims under your product This information may also include sensitive (special category) data such as any criminal records or your medical history and conditions which we can collect for insurance purposes without your specific consent as it is required to provide you with a quotation and/or arrange your insurance. We will only use this information to provide you with the service that you signed-up for.

 

When you have given us information about another person, you confirm that they have authorised you to act for them, to consent to the processing and use of their personal data in the manner described in this notice and to receive on their behalf any data protection notice.

 

When your product is due to expire we will contact you by telephone, letter and/or email to remind you to renew or extend the product.

 

In certain instances, we may request data from you, e.g. in the form of a customer survey, to better understand how our service and or products can be improved.  We would always inform you if this information is to be shared with a third party, and you would have the choice to participate or not. All data would be anonymised

 

Marketing:

We also ask your permission to add you to our marketing list, so we can send you details of special offers and new product information from carefully selected partners and our associated companies.

We, the provider of your product or the Insurer may transfer your information outside of the European Economic Area, for example the United States of America. We, the provider of your product or the Insurer will only do this where it is necessary for the conclusion, or performance of a contract between you and us, you and the provider of your product, or you and the Insurer, or that we, the provider of your product or the Insurer enter into at your request, in your interest, or for administrative purposes.
